RECON + Keep Orlando Beautiful- LaCosta Wetlands Park Clean Up

About this event

Please join Central Florida RECON (CFR) as we partner with Keep Orlando Beautiful (KOB) again to clean up LaCosta Wetlands Park!

We will not bring kayaks to this event; it will be a walking cleanup. There are no public restrooms at this public park. Cleanup equipment will be available to use for the event but feel free to bring your own buckets and grabbers. We will have latex gloves to share.

You will be asked to sign a Cleanup Event Sign in and Indemnity Waiver upon arrival.

The event is scheduled for two hours. At the end of the cleanup we will bag and weigh the trash, pull out the CFR banner and take a group photo.

If rain or heavy wind is in the forecast for the day of the cleanup, check here on Friday night for event updates.

Bring plenty of water to keep hydrated. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and wear sturdy shoes that can get wet and are stable for walking on uneven ground.

Hope you can join us!
