About this event
Parenting can be rewarding, but sometimes you just need another perspective.
Maybe your child is constantly arguing. Maybe mornings are a struggle. Maybe homework, technology, chores, or school is creating conflict. Maybe you're dealing with behavior you don't understand, or simply wondering if there's a better way to handle it.
We have ALL been there. And now, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
The Parent Circle is a group coaching experience designed to help you better understand your child's behavior, find practical solutions that work, and build a stronger relationship with your child, with a small group of parents who get it.
We meet once a month for 90 minutes, giving you a chance to learn, get personalized coaching, connect with other parents, and celebrate what's going well.
What do we do each month?
• LEARN A NEW STRATEGY: Each session will introduce a practical parenting insight or strategy you can put to work at home. We'll explore the reasons behind children's behavior and look at ways to respond that strengthen your relationship instead of creating more conflict.
• GET COACHED ON YOUR REAL-LIFE CHALLENGE: Bring a parenting issue you're currently facing. You'll have the opportunity to talk through your situation and receive personalized coaching to help you identify a practical next step.
• LEARN FROM OTHER PARENTS: You're not the only one dealing with these things. Hearing other parents' experiences can provide new ideas, reassurance, and a reminder that parenting doesn't have to be perfect.
• CELEBRATE THE WINS: We'll also make time to share what's going well. Because parenting isn't just about fixing problems, it's about noticing progress, celebrating your child, and celebrating yourself, too.
Who is The Parent Circle for?
Parents and caregivers of children from toddlers through teens are welcome!
We'll address a wide range of parenting challenges, including strategies that can be especially helpful for children who are:
• ADHD
• Gifted
• Twice-exceptional (2e)
• Struggling with executive functioning
• Experiencing frequent conflict, avoidance, or resistance
You don't need to have a major parenting problem to join. Sometimes the best time to get support is before a small problem becomes a big one.
