If you live in Seminole County, you're now under Florida's flood emergency. Gov. Ron DeSantis added Seminole, Volusia and Lake counties to his order Wednesday, making 14 in all. Forecasts say the St. Johns is expected to flood, possibly for several weeks.

The order lets counties tap the state's emergency preparedness and response fund. WKMG adds that it activates the Florida National Guard and the Florida State Guard.

NOAA forecasts the river near Sanford will reach minor flood stage by Friday and crest as high as 6.4 feet by Monday. Water would completely surround many homes in the and Still Brook subdivisions, and roads would flood around Enterprise Road and the Bethel Loop subdivision.

6.5 feetcrest that would put water in a few lower-lying homes

NOAA said water would then enter a few lower-lying homes in and Stillbrook, and roads into Stone Island would become impassable.
