- ➤ Residents in Sanford face worsening odor issues from the wastewater treatment plant near Lake Monroe as a temporary exhaust fan has failed. City officials said a custom odor control fan — scheduled for delivery the week of Nov 24 — will be installed the same day, and an extra temporary fan — to be put in place soon — is planned as part of improved maintenance protocols. - ➤ FSU freshman Ethan Pritchard of Sanford returned to the field at Doak Campbell Stadium two days after discharge and was honored for his recovery from a head shot in August—a case of mistaken identity. He now undergoes intensive physical therapy five days a week to relearn walking and build strength for a full return to play. WESH
