- ➤ The city of Sanford installed a temporary exhaust fan at North Water Reclamation Facility to clear the odor that has affected neighbors since mid-September — a change in the sewage treatment has also eased complaints. City manager Norton Bonaparte Jr. said a permanent fan with a bigger motor is expected to arrive by the end of November and will be installed in one day. WESH
