- ➤ Seminole County officials approved a two-mile toll road connector that will link State Road 417 to Orlando Sanford International Airport and cut nearly 50% of the traffic on East Lake Mary Boulevard. - ➤ The Central Florida Expressway Authority approved the 417 Sanford Airport Connector route on Thursday in rural Seminole County to link State Road 417 with Orlando Sanford International Airport along the 2A alignment—officials will begin project development and an environmental study while critics raise concerns over wildlife and future congestion. - ➤ On Oct. 17, the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County will host mobile mammogram screenings at 400 W. Airport Blvd. in Sanford. Women who are ages (40-64), have incomes at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, and lack insurance for clinical exams qualify for free or low-cost breast and cervical tests. WFTV
