Good morning, Sanford.

Brightline marked two years of service after more than 3.1 million riders traveled its route between Orlando and Miami, running 16 daily round trips with a fare averaging $79.

The company will add train cars to increase seating by year's end and plans future stops in Cocoa and Tampa Bay while safety remains a top priority—investigators are still reviewing a recent fatal crash in Rockledge.

FSU football player Ethan Prichard remains hospitalized after being shot while dropping off a family member near Tallahassee; four people have been arrested and his family noted slight improvements like his ability to blink on command—his father invited visitors when in Tallahassee this fall.

Sanford city officials will vote soon on a proposal that lets single-family homeowners keep up to six chickens but bans roosters and the sale of eggs or byproducts.

The measure comes as more residents show interest in urban farming (growing trend).
