- ➤ Tropical Storm Erin was upgraded to a hurricane on Friday by the National Hurricane Center — it is expected to reach Category 4 strength late Sunday as it turns north and remains well off our coast. WESH

- ➤ Amelia Adams from Melbourne had dengue fever last month and said the pain was severe with body aches, nausea, and bleeding; her son is now being tested after showing symptoms.
