GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Nearly three years after Hurricane Ian damaged the marina, the city is asking FEMA to reconsider its lower funding proposal and provide clear policy explanations—Mayor Woodruff said repairs costing about $18 million remain on hold until an agreement is reached. City staff are working with engineers and a FEMA specialist to meet current codes, and alternative funds may be used if FEMA does not cover all costs. WKMG
