  • Central Florida Zoo officials said Mr. Ginger, the youngest sloth from Sloth World at 4 to 6 months old, died despite round-the-clock efforts including frequent hand-feeding and time in an incubator; the zoo continues to care for the remaining sloths amid reported losses from the attraction.  WKMG

  • Sanford’s Shantell’s Just Until closed on Friday, May 15 after 13 years as owner Shantell Williams focuses on recovery from injuries. Williams said it will return as Redd’s Litt Cafe Home of Shantell’s Famous Fried Chicken with a Welcome Home Party at Blend and Barrel — keeping favorite menu items.  WKMG
