GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Sanford city commissioners approved spending up to $1,500 from Mayor Art Woodruff’s and Commissioner Claudia Thomas’ discretionary funds to pay for student tickets to Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Garden for sloth recovery at Monday’s meeting. Commissioner Thomas said the city will look for more ways to help the zoo.  FOX 35 Orlando
