Good morning, Sanford.

Thirteen sloths rescued from a closed facility are now at the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford where they will be monitored during a 30-day quarantine.

Officials said the animals, imported from Guyana and Peru, continue to receive dedicated care, though one remains in guarded condition.

A Lake Mary High School sophomore 3D printed a plastic part for ballot printers and saved Seminole County about $16,000.

The county will partner with the school to fix its 150 printers — other counties are also interested in ordering the parts.

Transit changes in Seminole County removed low-cost bus service in January, leaving residents like Angelique Gutierrez facing higher fares and longer wait times, though officials say SCOUT service now offers income-based discounts (capped at $2 or $5 per ride) and plans to add seven new vehicles this summer.
