Seminole County’s Board of Commissioners approved $184,000 in funding to add fences at Fire Station 12 and Fire Station 14 and to improve lighting and cameras at other stations if funds remain—after a dozen vehicles were broken into while firefighters responded to calls.

Officials said the security upgrades will help protect first responders—ensuring they remain safe while serving the community.
