About this event
Yin A quiet, inward practice centered on stillness, breath, and time. Poses are generally held for 2–6 minutes, allowing the body to gradually soften while you have space to notice sensation without rushing to change it. Yin works with the body's connective tissue and fascia, rather than focusing primarily on muscular effort. With time and stillness, the practice invites a different kind of physical exploration—one that asks us to slow down, listen to the body, and respect its boundaries. Yin is also a practice of the mind. Drawing from yoga philosophy, we explore surrender, patience, non-attachment, and presence. Instead of constantly reaching for the next thing, we practice being where we are. The stillness can reveal our habits, thoughts, and reactions, giving us an opportunity to observe them without judgment. This is not about forcing the body into a deeper shape. It is about creating space to soften, listen, and let go. Come as you are. Leave with a little more space—within the body and the mind.
