Timucua Indigenous Culture Festival: Juan R. Leõn, an artist with Melodic Revolution Records and Wadulisi Recordings, is a multi-instrumentalist of Yaqui/Tarahumara descent whose music exists at the intersection of tradition, technology, and experimentation.

A versatile performer on bass, NS Stick, Touch-Style Guitar (HTSG), Native American flute, and synthesizers, Juan composes and performs instrumental music that weaves melodies, harmonies, textures, and rhythms into a rich sonic tapestry. His work draws from a diverse spectrum of musical traditions and contemporary genres, including ambient, fusion, post-rock, new age, world, neoclassical, progressive, experimental, and dark-wave music.

For this presentation, Juan will perform a solo Native American flute performance, creating an intimate and atmospheric musical experience centered on the expressive voice of the flute. Through breath, tone, space, and improvisation, the performance explores the instrument’s ability to evoke both the natural world and deeply personal musical landscapes.
