Seminole County is seeking up to $1.5 million in state funding to add seven new SCOUT vehicles and upgrade its on-demand transportation system to reduce the current one-hour wait for over 1,000 daily riders. Commissioners will vote on the proposal next Tuesday, and funds may be available in July if approved.
